- Check caulking and weather stripping around doors and windows.(Fall)
- Check window and door screens. Patch or replace as needed. (Quarterly)
- Remove debris from around heating/cooling units and base or house. (Spring & Fall)
- Maintain grading slope away from foundation walls. (Annually)
- Check smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector. (Spring & Fall)
- Remove window air conditioner or protect with weatherproof cover. (Fall)
- Replace or clean air conditioner and furnace filters. (Quarterly)
- Service heating system and heat pump. (Annually)
- Check water heater for leaks. Drain to remove sediment. (Annually)
- Check interior and exterior faucets for leaks. Replace or add insulation as necessary. (Quarterly)
- Check attic for leaks, signs of birds, squirrels, raccoons, etc. (Quarterly)

- Clean refrigerator coils at the rear of the unit. (Spring & Fall)
- Check all wiring and plugs for wear or damage. Replace as necessary. (Quarterly)
